Step inside and you’ll discover a beautifully styled open-plan living room/kitchen diner. The kitchen area has everything you need to cook up a romantic meal for two, which you can then enjoy in the intimate dining space. Alternatively, head outside to the quaint terrace, fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco. This area is enclosed, so if you have your dog with you, they can run free while you dine. After dinner, pour yourself a glass of something cool and crisp and enjoy a well-earned dip in the hot tub. When night falls, curl up in front of the TV in the living area before heading to the wonderful mezzanine-style bedroom (restricted head height) to cuddle up for a great night’s sleep.
Head down to Christchurch Quay (5.5 miles) and rent a boat. This is the best way to explore the beautiful River Stour – and a wonderfully romantic way to spend an afternoon. If you don’t feel like being captain, jump on the ferry for a scenic ferry ride to Mudeford Sandbank - a long, narrow spit of white sand that juts out across Christchurch Harbour from Hengistbury Head. Mudeford’s blend of beach, heathland, wetland and woodland makes it a pleasure to explore.
