The bed offers a comfortable and restful sleep, ensuring you wake up rejuvenated and ready for another day of exploration. The kitchen is well-equipped with modern appliances, making it a breeze to whip up delicious meals during your stay, but for those wanting a break from cooking there is a huge choice close by. The living room area is designed for relaxation, with comfortable seating and elegant décor. The floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light and provide a stunning view of Brighton Beach.
There is no shortage of activities and attractions to enjoy in and around Brighton. Try out Sea Lanes, the UK’s first national heated open water swimming centre on the beach. Take a stroll along the iconic pier, enjoy classic fairground rides, indulge in traditional fish and chips, and soak up the lively atmosphere. A lovely little place, airy, light and relaxing. Great location and view. So near to lots of local attractions. The sofa/sofa bed was marked and stained. And there was no WiFi to log into.

We had a lovely stay overall, and the location is definitely the biggest selling point. The sea view is beautiful, and the bushes outside actually provide a nice level of privacy. The apartment is right on the seafront, with the pier, beach, amusements, restaurants and cafés all within easy walking distance. There are also frequent buses right outside, making it an ideal base for exploring Brighton.There were a few things that could be improved. The sofa is much larger than the one shown in the photos, which makes the living area feel noticeably smaller than expected. There wasn’t a welcome pack or any information about the apartment, so we had to message the owner to find out where the spare quilts were and work everything else out for ourselves.The apartment became very hot during our stay and would really benefit from having a fan available for guests. The windows are also very stiff and only open a small amount, so it was difficult to cool the apartment down.The shutters don’t block out much light, so the bedroom stays quite bright at night, and because the apartment is on a busy road there was traffic noise and emergency vehicles throughout the night. We were also disturbed every night by an alarm sounding just outside the front door. The owner advised us to silence it ourselves by pressing a button, so we had to get up each night to do this.The shower pressure was quite weak, and we struggled with the TV as it frequently froze, particularly when trying to use anything other than iPlayer. There was also a noticeable delay between using the remote and the TV responding.We also found the front door quite difficult to use. The lock was very stiff, and on several occasions it took quite a while to unlock, leaving us standing outside trying to get in. The bed frame also has metal parts that protrude, which we found to be a bit of a hazard as it was easy to catch your legs on them.Despite these issues, the fantastic location made it a very enjoyable stay, and it’s a great choice if being close to the beach and local attractions is your priority.
