My wife and I (together with our Cavapoo) stayed at Woodland View for a week in July. The house is clean, modern and large and makes a perfect base to explore St Leonards and Hastings. On approaching the house there is a private driveway for one car plus a well kept pretty front garden (including a bench). There is a spacious porch that includes a table and chairs. The house itself is terraced but we couldn't hear any noise from the neighbours. On entering the house, there is a hallway and a spacious kitchen to your right. The kitchen was clean and modern and included a large fridge freezer as well as a washing machine and dishwasher. The kitchen is well equipped with everything that you would need for your stay.The lounge is nicely decorated and spacious including a large smart TV as well as a comfy corner sofa. As an added bonus there is a conservatory that includes a table for 4 as well as a sofa. The back garden is really well kept with artificial grass and some amazing plants. It is enclosed and so an ideal space for a dog. Upstairs the two doubles are spacious and comfy. The third room is a good sized single and includes a cupboard. The bathroom is again modern and clean. The shower is nice and powerful. Woodland view is located about 1.3 miles from St Leonard's beach. It's a 30 minute walk and a bit of a hill to the beach. There is also a nature reserve at the back of the house which is great for an off-lead dog walk. I'd definitely recommend Woodland view and would plan to return. Also Gavin the owner was kind enough to leave some lovely treats which was a great touch.

Lovely comfortable and clean accommodation with a nice added welcome pack. Everything that you need is provided for and we love bed the house. The garden is a fabulous little oasis with shady and sunny areas to sit in and plenty of wildlife to watch in the woodland behind. We did find that the walk to the seafront was a bit too much for us so we used the car more than usual but parking wasn't too bad in St Leonard's and the walk to Hastings was pleasant.

I couldn’t fault the accommodation which was spotless and had everything you needed for your stay plus the nice touch of Prosecco and chocolates on arrival. There was also a lovely garden. We didn’t want to drive so took a couple of days to find our bearings and get used to buses etc. would have been useful to maybe have had that info in the folder that was left and maybe a map and maybe a list of nice places to eat and places to go which might not be obvious. Apart from that Gavin was contactable and helpful so all in all we had a good week and had brilliant weather which was a plus.
