Guests say

Henley Bridge Holiday Cottage is a charming, peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, ideal for those seeking relaxation and easy access to local attractions. Guests praise the tranquil setting, friendly and respectful hosts, and the well-equipped, cosy interior. Wildlife and birdlife are frequently enjoyed from the garden. While most found the cottage clean and comfortable, a few noted cobwebs and minor maintenance issues. Thoughtful touches such as fresh eggs, milk, and flowers were appreciated by several guests. The property’s rural location offers privacy, though own transport is essential due to narrow lanes.

Most guests found the cottage clean and tidy, but several mentioned cobwebs, a musty smell, and some areas needing more attention, such as the bathroom sink and oven.

The cottage’s secluded, peaceful setting is highly praised, with easy access to historic sites and local towns. Some mention the narrow approach roads, but these are generally not seen as problematic.

Guests generally found the cottage cosy and comfortable, enjoying the beds, sofas, and log burner. A few noted an uncomfortable bed and the challenge of a single upstairs bathroom for families.

The cottage is well-equipped with kitchenware, a log burner, reliable Wi-Fi, and a pleasant garden. Some guests noted limited kitchen utensils and minor maintenance issues, but overall facilities met expectations.

Several guests appreciated thoughtful touches such as welcome milk, eggs, and flowers. Please note that these gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

Nice cottage, overall cleanliness not great, sink in bathroom dirty, oven not clean, lots and lots of cobwebs that had obviously been there a while, could do with a lick of paint, kitchen utensils limited , bed very uncomfortable and an overall musty smell, outside space needs a good tidy up, directions not great .
