Great for walking, just through the gate into a field perfect for our dogs. Met so many other local friendly dog walkers each morning. This place has the wow factor and although the week we went in June was very wet it was a great place to stay. Friendly owner who has obviously spent a lot of time setting this place up as it is very well equipped. Definitely a place we would like to return to. The WIFI was a bit slow which was a shame, because of the bad weather all week we couldn't sit outside and enjoy the views and relied a fair bit on using the WIFI for streaming.

Our second time here, the first was nine years ago and it seemed that everything was the same.Very large and comfortable house with plenty of living space. There are three separate sitting areas if you include the sofa in the kitchen and a large table for children’s activities in addition to the dining table.Outside is a large patio with plenty of seats and loungers, as well as hot tub and brick barbecue.Bedrooms are comfortable with plenty of storage space although only one is en suite. The huge bathroom is there for the other bedrooms and there is a wet room with shower on the ground floor. Not cheap, but I would thoroughly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful week celebrating a big birthday! The house was perfect for gathering the family together and we all loved spending time there. We were super lucky with the weather and it was great to have walks from the door. Bill was very welcoming and responsive. The hot tub was a big hit as were the fabulous views and sunsets. Winchelsea is a lovely village and Rye is very close and a stunning town. The house is very well equipped and comfortable.
