The beach is located on the opposite side of the road, and you can enjoy beach and coastal walks straight from the front door as well as a variety of water sports including windsurfing, kite surfing and sailing. Hop in the car for a short drive and you ll find yourself in medieval Rye (3 miles), where historic cobbled streets are lined with galleries, cafes and pubs, bursting with character and old world charm. Slightly further afield is the seaside town of Hastings (12miles) which is perfect for wandering around the quaint Old Town. Also within a short drive is an altogether different seaside location, with the shingle beach at Dungeness (9 miles). Famous for its wild beauty and dramatic skies, Dungeness is not just popular with wildlife enthusiasts, but also with photographers and artists. Heading up the stairs to enter into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner which is a light and welcoming space.
