The pretty towns of Petersfield and Midhurst are just 5 miles away with the latter being home to Cowdry Park, famous for its many polo events each year. National Trust members can also enjoy exploring the many local properties on offer including Petworth House (12miles) Uppark House and Gardens (10miles) and Hinton Ampner (17miles). Venturing slightly further afield is Goodwood House and Park (15miles), known for its horseracing, The Festival of Speed and the Revival as well as many seasonal events and a trip to the nearby Sussex coastline is within 20 miles.
