Guests say

Stable Cottage is praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and tranquil location, making it a charming choice for a peaceful getaway. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities and the proximity to local amenities and walking routes, despite some concerns about internet connectivity and the presence of bugs typical of a countryside setting.

Guests consistently note the cottage's cleanliness, describing it as 'beautifully clean' and 'very comfortable,' with multiple affirmations of its well-kept state.

The cottage's peaceful location is well-received, though it's noted that walking to nearby villages can be unsafe due to narrow roads. The proximity to walking routes and local attractions is appreciated, but the need to drive for essentials is a slight drawback.

Reviews highlight the cottage's comfort, mentioning it as 'very comfortable,' 'cosy,' and 'tranquil,' suggesting a high level of satisfaction with the overall comfort of the stay.

Facilities are generally regarded as well-equipped and adequate for a pleasant stay, though there are mentions of a gas boiler smell and slow, intermittent internet, indicating some room for improvement.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

We did find the internet connection was both rather slow and also intermittent. However, Openreach staff were working in the area, and it could be the signal will be better in the future.

We had a lovely stay at this cute, cosy little cottage perfect for a weekend getaway. The place was clean and had a really welcoming feel. The only downsides were that the reception was a bit patchy, even when connected to the WiFi, and there were a few bugs around (which is understandable being out in the country). Overall though, it was a great stay and we enjoyed our time here!

The cottage is is a quiet location on a farm with 2 adjoining cottages. It is very well appointed with everything one could need. It was beautifully clean and very comfortable. We would certainly consider returning at some point in the future.
