About this property

Nestled on the gorgeous grounds of the Abshot Country Club on the outskirts of Titchfield Village in Hampshire, lies the stunning, ground-floor holiday home of Robins Nest. Boasting a brilliant exterior and an enclosed garden with flagstone patio and lawn areas, along with bright, airy interiors with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams, this wonderful property welcomes a family of four or two sharing couples for a refreshing escape near the south coast of England. Park up on a private driveway next to your new home-from-home and step inside to discover a range of well-appointed living areas. A tastefully-laid out, open-plan living space, with bi-fold doors leading out to your private patio, invites you and your loved ones to prepare delicious dinners in the fully-equipped kitchen, savour your meals at the dining table whilst you plan the rest of your stay, and unwind on the plush sofa in the sitting area as you enjoy a film on the sleek, wall-mounted Smart TV whilst you’re kept warm and toasty by an elegant woodburning stove. When sleep calls, be sure to refresh with a revitalising shower or bath before you settle down for a well-earned rest in an inviting double or twin bedroom, both of which are accompanied by their own en-suites. Explore the grounds of Abshot Country Club; go for a dip in the swimming pool, use the sauna and steam room, play a game of tennis, or work up a sweat in the gym before rejuvenating with a coffee and snack in the cafe. If you can tear yourself from your magnificent new lodgings, head out and explore what your local area has to offer. Within a brief drive of your new abode you will locate your nearest shop, Tesco Express, where you can stock up on essentials, whilst a pub lunch to fuel your adventures can be had at The Sir Joseph Paxton. The parks and gardens of Holly Hill and the Brownwich Beach nature reserve are within short driving distance, and offer an abundance of natural wonder, whilst a full day out can be enjoyed in the port city of Southampton, home to the historic Mayflower Park, the medieval gatehouse of Bargate, the ancient remains of Arundel Tower, whilst the city’s nautical history can be uncovered at the SeaCity Museum. It had everything you could wish for to make a totally relaxing holiday.

  • Angela

It was spotlessly clean, very welcoming and comfortable and a lovely place to stay. The kitchen had an amazing amount of crockery, cookware and utensils - far more than any other holiday home we have stayed in. Thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent here, it was warm and cosy, light and bright and we would love to stay here again in the future.
