Situated just a few minutes walk from Hill Head Beach, popular with water sports enthusiasts offering good sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, and also fishing. While dogs are allowed on the nearby beach all year round, they must be kept on a lead on the promenade. Inside the house boasts wooden oak floors and leather sofas. Each room has a Freeview digital TV. The kitchen is inclusive of a height-adjustable work surface, and it is also well equipped with modern fixtures and fittings, including a washing machine and tumble dryer.
From the sitting room, there are French doors onto the enclosed terrace, which offers a barbecue for those summer evenings. The garden is a mecca for Wildlife and has ducks and wild birds that come across from the nature reserve along with deer and the occasional sighting of badgers from the set in the Havenless. We had a lovely stay,we chose still waters for the view and for the wildlife,which didn't disappoint, saw the lovely deer in the garden a few times,along with ducks etc lots of birdsong very peaceful,was a little disappointed that the local nature reserve was closed,The bed on the ground floor is two separate ones pushed together that kept moving away as we slept which was a little annoying,and I found the mattress for me was too soft, but then that's my personal preference,The cupboard in the room held the boiler,The whole place was clean and tidy,though did find dirty crockery and cutlery but obviously that's from previous guests not cleaning things properly,The owner was friendly and was very prompt when we had an issue to fix it,

This is a stunning house with a beautiful deck and lake and bbq area. The kitchen is very well equipped and the lounge exceptionally comfy. All bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Also very quiet at night and a stones throw from the beach. We would stop again, and again!

The details of this property are not all correct ,the bedrooms are not all en-suite, the bathroom to one of the bedrooms upstairs is in the lounge on the ground floor. The owner said she doesn’t leave a welcome packs, so don’t expect one , there’s no bed settee in the lounge .although we didn’t need one, the slabs on the front have now been fixed as I understand , There was five of us staying, out of the five three of us have disabilities so I would not have booked this property knowing that one of the disabled had to go up and down the stairs all the time for the bathroom.I have reported this to Cottages .com but they still have not corrected this as yet .,
