These three holiday properties, adjacent to the owner’s home and farm, are set with others in a courtyard and share use of various grassed areas and 2 tennis courts. Chilton Farm is situated ¼ mile from the coast, set in beautiful countryside, and forms part of the Chilton Farm Estate. Brighstone has chocolate box cottages, National Trust museum, several places to eat, shop and a post office. There are scenic coastal and country walks as well as cycling routes such as the Tennyson Trail. Discover towering cliffs, farmland, woodland and river valleys, all linked by a 500-mile network of footpaths. The cottages are within easy reach of Freshwater Bay, Shanklin Chine, Godshill, St Catherine’s Lighthouse, The Needles, Alum Bay, Carisbrooke Castle, Calbourne Mill and Blackgang Chine. Sailing, watersports, golf, fishing and horse riding are all available locally. Many National Trust homes and gardens, wildlife centres, vineyards, farms with local produce and adventure parks can all be easily reached. Beach ¼ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Had a lovely stay at Appletree cottage last week. Accommodation was lovely and clean and the owner of the cottages was extremely pleasant and helpful. Only a 10 minute walk to a secluded beach which was perfect for a morning swim ( we even saw a seal )Would definitely recommend and we aim to return next year.

A beautiful dog friendly residence ,comfortable beds ensure bathroom, stunning views and surroundings, close to wildlife and farm ,with a beautiful little pond we are going to miss so much as well as the peace ,tranquility and the neighbours beautiful collie dog.only one problem for us really was we didn't have our own transport so it was getting difficult to get about by the end of a week but still wanted too !!! ( I had a tendon injury)Try the delicious eggs and produce from the village store ! And the fabulous giant Yorkshire pud at the 3 bishops pub fabulous food .thank you for a memorable holiday which was well needed in a place I've always wanted to visit ,hopefully will return .

You need a vehicle if you stay here. However we wanted to be out of the way so this cottage was perfect and we were happy to travel for pub/shop etc. There is a beach quite literally on the doorstep, which is also dog friendly. It is not disabled friendly though. There are very deep steps down to the bay. The cottage is a little tired, and clearly well used but everything worked. Showers need rethinking - the positioning is a little difficult - not helpful if you are tall or have any limited mobility. The owners are very helpful and keen for you to enjoy your stay.
