The cottage is in a lovely location, easy to find and plentiful parking. However, on arrival we found cobwebs throughout the property, including over the cooker, kitchen items put away dirty and there was a persistent unpleasant odour which lingered all week, despite the owners' efforts to reassure us. Other areas needed attention, like the shower which worked fine but the doors and strut needed maintenance. A little more care and attention is needed for Brixton Barn to realise its full potential.
