Penda Cottage in Niton, Ventnor, is highly praised for its stunning location, cleanliness, and comfort. Guests appreciate the peaceful setting, the well-equipped facilities, and the thoughtful touches like the welcome hamper. Despite minor maintenance issues and the occasional need for better communication regarding ongoing work, the cottage offers a delightful stay with its scenic views and cosy atmosphere.
The majority of guests report the cottage as spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with only a few isolated comments about minor cleanliness issues such as windows needing a wipe and some dog hair on the sofa.
The location is consistently described as excellent, with guests loving the scenic views, peaceful environment, and proximity to local attractions like the lighthouse and pub.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, warm, and cosy, especially during stormy weather. There are a few remarks about minor issues such as lamps without bulbs and a curtain rail problem, but these do not significantly detract from the overall comfort.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the cottage being well-equipped and maintained. However, some guests mention the need for maintenance on items like the oven, bath plug, and heaters, leading to a slightly lower score.
Guests frequently mention the welcome hamper, which adds a thoughtful touch to their stay. It is important to note that while the hamper is appreciated, such gifts are not guaranteed and may vary.

Absolutely fantastic location, relative solitude but close proximity to amenities. Canât beat waking up in the morning and looking out over the sea. The huge enclosed area for the dogs to run free was brilliant. They, and we, had a great time. Lovely pub just up the hill and plenty of fields for the dogs. What more could you want.
