A complimentary welcome hamper will be awaiting you on your arrival containing milk, tea, fresh coffee, bread, butter, eggs, juice, wine and cheese, along with other essential items to prepare a light snack or breakfast. There may be some regional variations.

Sleeps five guests.

Fully enclosed and private courtyard with a shared open grassed area. Please ensure that children are supervised at all time within the grounds of the Lighthouse. Sorry, no barbeques or fireworks permitted.
Parking is available. You may unload next to Penda but please remember to park to the rear of the cottage to respect the privacy and views of others. Parking to the rear can also be accessed via the back door and through your private courtyard.
Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome.
The lighthouse does not have a fog signal.
Access roads to the lighthouse site are narrow with limited passing places and, dependent on the season and site, there is the possibility of overhanging vegetation due to cutting restrictions during bird breeding seasons or other environmental reasons.
Please be aware that the lighthouses and equipment need regular and sometimes emergency maintenance. Therefore visits by maintenance staff may occur at any time during the year. However, staff will do their best to ensure guest privacy at all times.
Please note that due to the location of the property TV reception is often intermittent or lost. No reception for Channel 4.
Minimum stay of a two night stay.
St Catherine's Lighthouse is situated just outside the hamlet of Niton, approximately 10 minutes' drive from the popular coastal resort of Ventnor, the southernmost point of the Isle of Wight. The site comprises a terrace of three self catering, former lighthouse keepers cottages, Landward Cottage, sleeping 4 guests, S41624, sleeping five guests and Penda Cottage sleeping five guests. There is an excellent real ale pub a 10-minute walk up the hill.
