They told us towels were not provided, so we carried towels on the train and foot ferry only to find plenty there. Apart from that we had a very enjoyable stay. Will probably return.

Coastguard cottage is ideal for a break on the IOW. It is clean, comfortable & well equipped with a great view of the sea. It is well placed for getting out and exploring the local area & also the rest of the island with nearby transport links. I would certainly consider it for future stays on the island.
