Longford Cottage has been newly refurbished for 2023, and has been beautifully furnished; this cottage is a great choice for a holiday on the Isle of Wight. There are two double bedrooms, one of which is located on the ground floor, and a further snug with a chair bed and the best view. A beautiful kitchen with patio doors leading out to the garden, a charming living room, and a storage area for boot, coats, bicycles or kayaks and this room completes the ground floor. The absolute show stopper at Longford Cottage is the bathroom which definitely has the wow factor! There is a lovely garden with a stunning rural view. Sonos speakers have been installed throughout this beautiful cottage, so you can have music wherever you go.
Havenstreet is a delightful village approximately 2 miles from the seaside resort of Ryde. Havenstreet is home to the award-winning attraction which is the Isle of Wight steam railway. The village also has a great pub which also serves delicious food. There are many cycle trails from the village which will take you through beautiful rolling scenery. The “Island” as locals refer to it, has so much to offer such as The Needles, with its chairlift, amusement park, boat rides, lighthouse and coloured sands of Alum Bay. Blackgang Chine, Dinosaur Isle, Ventnor Botanical Gardens, Tapnell Farm Park, Carisbrooke Castle and Queen Victoria’s favourite holiday residence, Osborne House and its gardens are some of the attractions on offer. The sailing towns of Yarmouth and Cowes also make for a great day out, so whatever you decide, the Isle of Wight has plenty to offer. Beach 4 miles.

A very well equipped cottage, TV's, good kitchen and comfortable double beds and very good bathroom. Close to Ryde and Newport with supermarkets etc.The only down side was that the road through village is quite busy.

Well stocked. But stairs very steep. Handrail would be a good idea as step down from bedroom to bathroom a bit hard work at night. Back garden really good for dogs 🐕. Parking a bit of a nightmare if you have a big car. Lastly pub next door does not allow dogs inside 😕. Not good if it's raining. But saying all of that we enjoyed our holiday

Great cottage. Perfect for what we needed. The garden was also great for the dogs - enclosed and secure. Plenty of space & good facilities throughout. Would recommend & would stay again.
