Guests say

Guests have had a delightful experience at Pinot, praising its tranquil location, high-quality furnishings, and well-equipped amenities, including a hot tub. The lodge's cleanliness and comfort are consistently commended, with its proximity to local attractions and the convenience of a nearby pub adding to its charm. Some minor maintenance issues were noted, but overall, the property provides a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

Most guests found Pinot to be immaculately clean and well-maintained, though a few mentioned cobwebs and areas that could have been cleaner. The majority of feedback, however, reflects a high standard of cleanliness.

The lodge is situated in a peaceful and beautiful countryside location, with easy access to local attractions and a pub serving good food. The serene views and quiet surroundings are highly appreciated by guests.

Guests have found the beds very comfortable and the lodge well-equipped for a relaxing stay. The presence of a hot tub adds to the comfort level, although some guests suggested improvements for warmer weather.

The lodge is praised for being well-equipped and comfortable, with a special mention of the hot tub. However, some guests noted the need for minor additions such as oven gloves and a teapot, and maintenance issues like a strong spring on fire doors and a bright escape light.

While guests have mentioned a welcome pack, there is not enough consistent information about the provision of gifts or additional thoughtful touches to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such amenities are a bonus and not guaranteed.

Well maintained and in an excellent location to explore the island. Having the Mermaid gin bar next door is a bonus! Jon came out within the hour to fix a broken lock for us which was much appreciated. The lodge is accessible and my only suggestions to improve this would be the addition of a grab rail in the shower, a seat in the bathroom and a seat by a lower mirror all of which would really help those with mobility issues.

Again we had a great time and hopefully we will be back. Wishing Well nearby is a bonus.

There were cobwebs in most corners of the bathroom and kitchen/ living, area so we had a few spiders about. When I went to take out the colander from the cupboard a massive cobweb came out with it. It was much appreciated to find milk, biscuits, tea & coffee when we arrived but the property had no teapot, which was disappointing for us tea drinkers. The outside tap was dripping all the time we were there and for an eco house we thought it was a waste of electricity to constantly keep the hot tub running. The outside of the property, at the back was dirty and cobwebby, and looked like it had not been cleaned down in a while. When my husband shaved each morning he had no mirror above the sink and had to step aside to the mirror that was there hence dripping water and shaving foam on the floor. The bed was comfy and clean. We were glad that the weather wasn’t too hot because there were no windows in the bedrooms and it would have been very uncomfortable, especially for a woman of a certain age
