Serena is a spacious, detached property with off-road parking for up to four vehicles at the front and a large enclosed rear garden. It is offers two living rooms, one on each floor, one bathroom, two shower rooms and three good-sized bedrooms all with laminate flooring throughout, being able to accommodate up to seven guests in total, as well as up to four dogs. The property is super dog-friendly - there is even a hose and ground floor shower room at Serena, so you can clean off yourselves and your furry friends upon your return.
This well-equipped holiday home has fantastic views over the Solent, and is a surprisingly spacious base. Located in the popular seaside town of Ryde with its host of shops, bars, restaurants and cafés, it lies just a short stroll from the marvellous park and beach at Appley. The stretches of sand at Ryde offer fantastic views across the Solent to Portsmouth, with the landmark Spinnaker Tower forming an impressive backdrop to a busy shipping channel, which carries an interesting array of freight, passenger and military ships, a great place to take your four-legged friends for their walks. Along the promenade, you will find tennis courts, ten pin bowling, a fun fair, a canoe lake and a swimming pool, providing plenty to do within the local area. You can also enjoy the scenic coastal walks, go crabbing, sailing, fishing, horse riding, golf or even go-karting, all of which are easily accessible from the property. There are numerous attractions across the island to discover for all ages, including The Needles, with its chairlift, amusement park, boat rides, lighthouse and coloured sands of Alum Bay. Visit Queen Victoria’s favourite holiday residence, Osborne House and its gardens, Blackgang Chine, the oldest themed attraction in the UK, Ventnor Botanic Garden, Tapnell Farm Park, Carisbrooke Castle or the sailing towns of Yarmouth and Cowes. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Perfect Stay for Both Humans and Dogs!We’ve just returned from a wonderful week at Serena and honestly couldn’t have asked for more. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome, with thoughtful welcome packs provided for both us and our dog.Our Springer Spaniel was absolutely in his element! The large, fully enclosed garden with high fencing gave us complete peace of mind and allowed him to enjoy every minute of his holiday safely and freely.The house itself was immaculate—spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained throughout. It was also exceptionally well equipped, with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was particularly impressive, stocked with every utensil and appliance imaginable, plus a fantastic tea and coffee station complete with a wide selection of Teas, Coffees, Hot Chocolate and even Horlicks. It was such a thoughtful touch.There was also a great selection of games, books and DVDs available, ensuring there was always something to do, whatever the weather.The attention to detail throughout the property was outstanding, and it’s clear that a lot of care has gone into creating a welcoming home-from-home experience for guests and their four-legged companions alike.I genuinely struggle to find a single negative. Serena exceeded our expectations in every way, and we would not hesitate to return or recommend it to others. A truly fabulous holiday from start to finish.Thank you for such a memorable stay! 🐾🏡✨

We had a fantastic stay at Seldon Avenue on the Isle of Wight. The accommodation was perfect clean, spacious, and laid out really well, making it feel comfortable and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The location is brilliant, with truly amazing views over the Solent that we never got tired of. It’s also a great choice for families and pet owners. The secure garden was ideal for our dogs, giving us peace of mind, and the trampoline was a huge hit with the kids. Thoughtful touches like a great selection of teas, coffees, condiments, and even dog treats really made the stay feel special. All in all, it’s an absolute all-rounder, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended!
