This ground floor cottage has ramped access and a large wet room suitable for wheelchair users, making it ideal for the less mobile. At this cottage, there is one bedroom and a light and spacious open plan living area, with a fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area, as well as double patio doors leading onto the private patio area. Its excellent transport links â regular ferry, hovercraft and catamaran services from the mainland â mean thousands each year cross The Solent to enjoy Ryde's selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, or to relax on the six miles of glorious sandy beach. There are plenty of recreational activities on the seaside esplanade, including tenpin bowling, an ice-rink, children's rides and paddling pool, a boating lake and a putting green. With everything in easy reach and the whole Island at your fingertips, Ryde makes a superb holiday destination.

Perfectly positioned home with great accessible facilities.I am in a wheelchair but great for my able bodied husband. Easy to access all the sites on the island. Lovely to be part of a working smallhold ,daily visitations from sheep,rabbits and birds of prey Great information if wanted by Helen and Paul.

The view from the garden was wonderful.just a couple of minor points, the sauce pans need replacing as they wobble on the job and a set of tongs would be useful. We know the area so we was ok for some one new info about local shops would be useful. We would definitely make a return visit
