It lies in the charming village of Newchurch, surrounded by countryside, an area of Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with plenty of walks and cycle and nature trails. Wildlife such as the famous red squirrel, various birds and other wildlife can be seen. Nearby is Amazon World Zoo Park, one of the top family attractions, and Robin Hill Adventure Park. Discover the Garlic Farm and Arreton Barns, or further afield is the picturesque Godshill with model village gift shop and tea rooms. Within a 5-minute drive, visit the popular tourist resort of Sandown, with seaside entertainment including amusements, Tiger Island Zoo, putting, crazy golf, pier leisure centre and waterside dining in one of the many restaurants and cafés. Shanklin is also within easy reach, with the magical Chine, and quaint thatched roofed tea rooms, houses and shops. Lovely cottage with 3 generous bedroom. Feels quite big and nice layout. We asked for a cot and high chair - the cot was lovely and big and they left blankets, potty, changing mat and nappy bin as well. Very thoughtful. Garden was perfect for the dog and our 18 month old. Cottage is well stocked with lots of kitchen bits and a very generous welcome basket. Comfortable and cosy. Would recommend. Stairs are a little steep for anyone with mobility issues. Nice pub 10 min walk away which serves food.

Just returned from a lovely week on the Isle of Wight. We stayed at The Devonia and were very pleased with the location, house equipment and the great food basket that was left for us, as well as milk and cheese in the fridge.Had a little trouble finding it but Jackie immediately messaged me to give me more details. Also, received a message to say that the house was ready for us 2 hours before the published time. Perfect!If you have any sort of physical disability then you may find the stairs to the bedrooms and main bathroom a little challenging. Stairs are steep.Would we recommend it and go there again - yes!! Absolutely!!Thank you for making everything so easy, Jackie.
