Wildlife such as the famous red squirrel, various birds and other wildlife can be seen. Nearby is Amazon World Zoo Park, one of the top family attractions, and Robin Hill Adventure Park. Discover the Garlic Farm and Arreton Barns, or further afield is the picturesque Godshill with model village gift shop and tea rooms. Within a 5-minute drive, visit the popular tourist resort of Sandown, with seaside entertainment including amusements, Tiger Island Zoo, putting, crazy golf, pier leisure centre and waterside dining in one of the many restaurants and cafés. Shanklin is also within easy reach, with the magical Chine, and quaint thatched roofed tea rooms, houses and shops. There is so much to do on this sunny island, plenty of National Trust homes and gardens including Osborne House, Queen Victoria’s former holiday abode, Carisbrooke Mill, Lavender Farm, donkey sanctuary, glass making, dinosaur park and various museums. Absolutely loved this property, perfect location, spacious , had everything you would need and more, amazing welcome basket on our arrival . Great for visiting anywhere on the island. Pub 6 mins walk up the road which does amazing Sunday Roasts. Host Jackie was very responsive if we had any questions. Our golden retriever loved the garden too. Well worth 5 stars and we will be back next year! Recommend to anyone if you want a spacious comfortable stay with everything on your doorstep and more .

Lovely cottage with 3 generous bedroom. Feels quite big and nice layout. We asked for a cot and high chair - the cot was lovely and big and they left blankets, potty, changing mat and nappy bin as well. Very thoughtful. Garden was perfect for the dog and our 18 month old. Cottage is well stocked with lots of kitchen bits and a very generous welcome basket. Comfortable and cosy. Would recommend. Stairs are a little steep for anyone with mobility issues. Nice pub 10 min walk away which serves food.
