Shoreline is a well-equipped and comfortable cottage, highly praised for its fantastic location just opposite the beach and close to local shops and amenities. Shoreline Cottage is a charming, Victorian, former navy coastguard cottage, situated on the sea front, overlooking Sandown’s popular wide sandy beach. This delightful terraced, three-bedroom, three reception room cottage has undergone careful renovation, yet still retains some original features, such as exposed brick fire surround. Stunning sea views can be enjoyed from the rooms at the front. Perfect for families, there are plenty of games, books, DVDs and a bike store.
Sandown is ideal for families and those who like cliff-top walks, cycling, fishing and golf. There are plenty of shops, bars, cafés, restaurants and the pier and its amusements, all within 5 minutes’ walk. Also nearby is the Isle of Wight Zoo, Dinosaur Isle, pitch and putt, trampolines, crazy golf and the Heights Leisure Centre with indoor pool, gym, sauna and steam spa. Further afield, visit Carisbrooke Castle, Osborne House, Flamingo Park, Blackgang Chine, Robin Island Adventure Park, Amazon World, steam railway, the garlic farm, Ventnor Botanical Gardens or a donkey sanctuary. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
There is on-going building work to the rear of the property. The work takes place between 8am and 3pm and there may be heavy machinery.
Building work next door, building a single storey extension starting 29/4/19, should take about 4 weeks

Amazing accommodation, has everything you need including a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi and garden, all mod cons, owners have made sure you have everything you need.Location is ideal, especially if you have children, over the road from beach, short walk to shops, near to buses and a couple of attractions.Old style cottage that has couple of small steps to get into property, via large conservatory, so could be a small issue for someone who has walking issues or disability, bathroom is on ground floor with all bedrooms upstairs, no parking but has public car park to rear and public parking on road which are both payable daily or a weekly pass.Would highly recommend, this is our 2nd year and have already booked next year!

Excellent location and house as described.Issue with the xleaners was dealt with satisfactorily. Cheaper car parking or ferry would have been better.
