Enjoy days out at the beach, play a round of golf at the Sandown and Shanklin Golf Club, learn about the island's former residents at Dinosaur Isle or head to Brading Roman Villa or the National Trust's Bembridge Fort for some more recent history (all within 3 miles). Other novel attractions include the Garlic Farm Shop and Cafe (5 miles), Amazon World Zoo (3.5 miles) and Adgestone Vineyard (2.6 miles). There are plenty of walking and cycling routes for the adventurous and active, or if you are more of a water sports enthusiast, head on down to Sandown Beach where there is an array of activities to choose from.
