Any laundry needs are accommodated in a separate, shared laundry room. Dine, load the dishwasher then relocate to the lounge where a pair of plush sofas are arranged before a second Smart TV. When it’s time to sleep, the apartment has three spacious bedrooms, two with lovely garden views. The main bedroom features a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom is perfect for families, offering a double bed, bunk beds and an en-suite bathroom (with toddler training seat). The third bedroom has another luxurious king-size bed, and a separate family bathroom completes the convenience for all guests. Your living space extends to a south-facing terrace that overlooks the gardens. There’s lots to enjoy right on your doorstep: holiday here between May and September and you’ll have shared use of the heated swimming pool, while available all-year is an action-packed children’s playground, playhouse and an arcade with retro machines and air hockey. Once the children have had their fill of fun, adults can enjoy additional down-time by booking a private chef or babysitter – both are available by arrangement with the apartment owner. One of the hot spots of Sandown Bay, Shanklin (1 mile) has everything you need for a fabulous family holiday. Stroll through the historic Old Village – home to thatched cottages, tea rooms and unique shops – and explore Shanklin Chine, a lush gorge which is beautifully illuminated in the evenings. Shanklin’s long, sandy beach is ideal for sunbathing and water sports, the Esplanade has traditional seaside amusements, and the nearby chalk downs offer coastal walks with stunning views. For more family fun, head to Blackgang Chine amusement park (8.5 miles) and Dinosaur Isle (3.5 miles) in Sandown, which features interactive exhibits and life-size models of prehistoric creatures native to the Isle of Wight.
