This delightful mid-terrace cottage is situated in the traditional seaside resort of Shanklin Old Village on the south-east coast of the Isle of Wight. This superb holiday home is ideal for a family with Shanklin Chine, beach and theatre all within easy walking distance and plenty of places to visit nearby. Upon entering this lovely cottage you will find that it has been stylishly furnished to a high standard with a mix of modern and retro furniture. On the ground floor is a cosy sitting room with enough seats for everyone in your party, along with a Smart TV and a feature fireplace with log burner. Also on the ground floor is a well-equipped and bright kitchen with dining area, as well as a bathroom and a door that leads you out onto a fully enclosed gravelled courtyard. The first floor comprises three bedrooms, a master king-size double bedroom, a zip/link twin room with a seaside theme and a bunks room; an ideal set up for a variety of party sizes. The courtyard is the perfect place to relax after a day on the beach, with a gas barbecue, so why not cook a meal on it and dine alfresco in the evening sun? The town of Shanklin has a safe sandy beach, a pier, shops, pubs, tea rooms, restaurants and a golf course – what more do you need! There are many other attractions within reach, including a variety of coastal and inland walks, making this an excellent cottage from which to explore all that the island has to offer. The cottage is also close to Shanklin train station with direct trains from central London (including ferry), so you can easily leave your desk on Friday and be in your cottage by the beach within hours.
