This holiday home is beautifully whimsical inside, the decor is interesting and homely. We were finding new things to look at each day. The children were kept entertained when inside with musical instruments and lots of games. The beds were super comfy and clean with crisp linen. The towels were soft and plushy! The location is good, a short walk to a pebbley beach with bar/restaurant. There is plenty of information about local attractions and eating recommendations in the welcome folder with numerous leaflets. Supermarket a couple of minutes drive away, and an electric car charging point just two minutes away, with a park for the children whilst we waited. I really wanted to fall in love with this holiday home, though unfortunately there were also a few things that fell short. The shower didn't feel clean (the tiles in the shower need regrouting due to bits missing and was yellow). I had to wash the plates, cups and mugs (two mugs hadn't even been cleaned) before use as they had not been cleaned properly. I also had to buy descaler to descale the kettle as it looked as though it had never been done. Though the bedrooms, living room and floors were all clean. The garden has so much potential, though I was disappointed with the views obscured with overgrown weeds and brambles. My children tried to play in the garden, however soon came back in after been stung by numerous stinging nettles. The garden just felt neglected and areas were roped off with garden waste and wood chucked down.Overall the location was great, the inside of the house beautiful decorated and comfy, utility cleanliness was lacking, garden was disappointing.
