The wonderful seaside town of Yarmouth is the oldest town on the Isle of Wight, and is home to a busy harbour, narrow streets, an array of shops and inns, and Henry viii's castle. The coastal path is a haven for walkers and cyclists, plus walks can also be enjoyed across to the nearby Tennyson Down. The beaches of Colwell and Totland Bays provide great watersports facilities, which makes Yarmouth an ideal base.

Would have been helpful to have soap in the bathroom and more blankets as the duvet is quite thin. Would recommend for a short break and would stay here again

! Right on the beach with all you need for a battery recharging break. Lots to watch on the Solent in inclement weather and a great, friendly cafe at the other end of the Boat House Block. Weâve been back for most of the past 15 years and have already booked our next stay. Need we say more??

The ever changing tides , in just a week we had millpond calm to raging white horses . Spectacular. The property itself was comfortable enough for us . Furniture etc a bit dated but this was very good value for money . Remember to bring everything with you as you only have one bin liner , 1 toilet roll , you will need to bring towels , handwashing etc and we also struggled to find a bottle opener . So just come prepared. The owner was really responsive and dealt with providing a warmer quilt and also a WIFI issue so any problems just contact John . It would be nice to have some recycling facilities on site as everything went in the bin as nowhere to recycle. Having said all the above we loved our week visiting family and We will definitely be back as we loved this chalet so much .
