About this property

Yarmouth 0.8 miles. This well-equipped, single storey holiday home rests on the West Bay Club on the edge of Yarmouth. Offering bright and airy accommodation over the ground-floor, Cape A1 is a superb base for a family of four looking to spend some time on the scenic Isle of Wight. Step directly into the open-plan living space, where you can get comfortable upon the settees and catch up on your favourite shows, or cross the threshold to the kitchen and conjure up a tasty meal, assisted by a range of appliances. On those balmy evenings, slide open the patio doors and access the rear garden, whilst there is also a decking at the front which overlooks the communal lawns. Freshen up in the bathroom, choosing between a bath or shower over, before heading to the bedrooms for your rest; there is a double with TV and a twin. Just a 5 minute walk away is West Wight Sports and Community Centre, where there are many activities on offer for children and families, including a swimming pool, climbing wall and various sports classes, the perfect spot for a rainy day. If you’re seeking a charming escape to the Isle of Wight, look no further than Cape A1. Note: Note: This property can be booked with Ref. 1131494, which is located opposite, together sleeping up to 10 guests.

Yarmouth is a charming seaside town and the oldest settlement on the Isle of Wight. Its bustling harbour is a haven for all types of boats, and regular ferry service from the mainland to Lymington departs from its terminal. A visit to Henry viii's castle should not be missed, and Yarmouth's winding lanes are home to a charming assortment of shops and inns. Along the beach trail, you can enjoy fantastic walking and cycling (there is a shop where you can rent bikes). Why not go for a vigorous walk in Headon Warren or adjacent Tennyson Down? Colwell Bay, with its sandy beach and family-friendly services, is 7 minutes' drive from Sandhard Beach and 15 minutes' walk from Sandhard Beach. Another great place to go crabbering is at Yarmouth's pier and sailing club jetty. Compton Bay, four miles distant and known for its dinosaur fossils, is where you should go at low tide to see if you can spot the two massive three-toed feet. Yarmouth is a great place to start if you want to visit West Wight, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
