If you are looking for peace and tranquility then this is the place for you- the lodge is located approx 1 mile up a country lane in front of the owners house so it is very private. the lodge is well equiped and is like home from home. There is also a great pub at the bottom of the drive and the food there was lovely. we loved our short time spent there and will definitely be back.

A beautiful property in a great location, especially if you are looking for something in a quiet natural environment.Lots of great walks, with a lovely pub 20 minutes away.The property was clean and well maintained and the owners were very friendly and quick to act when there was a small issue due to heavy rainfall.Has all the things you need for a self catering stay, including all the kitchen utensils that you need for cooking.Only thing to be mindful of is the road is not tarmaced, so if you have a low vehicle you may struggle with access.

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was a lovely stay. The lodge is very well presented and clean, with all necessities provided, and the welcome basket was a lovely touch. We had a slight problem with the shower, but it was quickly resolved and communication with the owner was very easy. We would definitely stay again.
