Solent Cottage is set in the coastal town of Yarmouth just a few hundred yards from the sea. This smart holiday home is Grade ll listed dating back to the 1700s. The town, famed for it sailing and fishing history, still retains its olde worlde charm, with cobbled lanes, inns, restaurants, shops, church, promenade and pier. The island has a good bus network and numerous walking and cycling routes and tourist parking permits can be purchased using PayByPhone from the council. Guests can walk from the ferry terminus to the property. Shop and pub 200 yards.

Great place. Lots to do. Very quiet,cosy cottage. Great base to explore the island. Would love to come back again.

Cottage is in an excellent location, clean and warm, ( carpets could do with a deep clean). Information on company site needs amendments, no toilet on first floor and no welcome food pack. Shower room small for average size adult and mattresses on double beds very thin and sqeaky! However we had a lovely holiday, sun was provided.

Nice cottage and location in Yarmouth. The cottage was mainly well equipped although some things were a bit past their best. The stairs were steep but this was made clear in the description so wasn’t a surprise, Generally clean although we did have to deal with a mouse running round the kitchen one morning. My main gripe would be that the property description states that a welcome pack is provided, so I was expecting a few more useful things than just a bottle of vinegar and half a pot of black pepper left in one of the cupboards.
