A wonderful, detached property set in a rural location, perfect for dog and nature walks. Very close to the car ferry and within walking distance of a pub.. 2 steps to entrance.

Westfield is the perfect retreat for a small family or a couple wishing to be close enough to amenities but wanting that rural setting. There are plenty of native red squirrels running around and a local buzzard who visits the property on a regular basis. This is a truly magnificent experience for you wildlife lovers. The property is situated up a rough track and is teeming with trees and nature. The outlook from every window is just stunning in every season. The picturesque harbour town of Yarmouth is just a short drive from the property; here you will find a selection of cafés, bars and restaurants.
The historic harbour is guarded by Yarmouth Castle, the last addition to Henry viii sea defences. Walk around the castle and discover the recreated rooms of the 16th century or simply sit outside and enjoy a picnic while admiring the views out to the sea.

A lovely lodge in the woods. Beautiful setting. Absolutely dreadful mattress and pillows which the owners have been made aware of in previous reviews and ignored. I also contacted the owners and cottages.com to raise this but not had a reply from either. A real shame. The owners have been incredibly thoughtful in so many aspects like toiletries, games, books, rainy day basket. Our children loved the tree swing.Communication before our stay was excellent and questions were responded to quickly. With a few improvements I would definitely recommend this place.

A quirky cottage in the woods but has everything you need. Lots of thoughtful touches with games, books, DVDs and even a rainy day box. Welcome gift of cookies and homemade jam and apple juice. Lots of nature all around you with an elusive red squirrel we saw a few times. If you want new and modern then maybe not for you but it more than makes up for that for location and character. We were a bit worried about the unmade road leading to the cottage as it is further than we expected but it’s very quiet so just drive very carefully. Great location for exploring IOW and so close the Yarmouth ferry.
