Situated on the edge of the historic Wealden village of Biddenden, with a choice of restaurants, pubs, and cafes within a 5-minute drive in Biddenden, the surrounding villages and the along the pretty tree-lined high-street of Tenterden – aptly named ‘The Jewel of the Weald’. Hemsted Forest, with its extensive walking and cycling paths, and the award-winning Biddenden Vineyards, open for wine and cider tastings, are both just a stone’s throw away. For those who wish to explore further afield there is plenty to do and see in the local area, from Sissinghurst Castle Gardens, the Kent & Sussex Steam Railway to Bedgebury Pinetum, and much more.
Deer Cottage 1 (UK39330) can be booked with Deer Cottage 2 (UK39332) to accommodate up to 8 guests. Bookable in conjunction with both cottages, is a wonderfully versatile on-site function hall - providing the perfect venue should you be looking to host a special event, arranged directly with the owner. The function hall will not be in use during your stay unless booked by you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Deer Cottages (despite not seeing any deer). The cottage itself was a perfect base in a lovely quiet setting, but close enough to Tenterden, Biddenden and Cranbrook that everything we needed was only a short drive away. Our only small niggle was that the sofas in the cottage were uncomfortable after half an hour of sitting on them. Other than that, we had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend Deer Cottages to friends and family.
