No smoking.. Renovated in 2019, this single-storey stable offers a great choice for families and couples. Lords View is located in the small village of Ruckinge, near Ashford, and is set within the owners impressive 200 acres comprising of scenic public footpath walks and part of a working farm with chickens and occasionally sheep. With the living room and one of the bedrooms having patio doors, you can enjoy direct access to the garden area. Modern décor flows throughout with lots of large windows creating a wonderful light and airy atmosphere, accompanied by tasteful soft furnishings and gorgeous oak furniture. Comfortably sleeping 6 guests, there are three bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed, and two with twin beds, and there is a sofa bed in the living room for flexible sleeping arrangements too.
Admire the countryside views with two of the bedrooms looking out over the beautiful setting. Lords View welcomes dogs and encourages you to take lots of family walks and bike rides in this gorgeous setting. For a day out, head to nearby Port Lympne family zoo, the beaches at Dymchurch and in Romney Marsh, take the high speed train into London, alternatively, why not take the Eurostar from Ashford Station to France or Belgium for the day? Ruckinge is a small quiet village with more amenities available in the next village of Ham Street, 3 miles. Lords View has great access to the nearby wedding venues of Odo’s Barn and Bilsington Priory, should you have an event to attend to. Beach 7 miles. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

We recently stayed at Lords View and really enjoyed our stay. A warm welcome from Peter accompanied by his friendly dog Sam. The cottage is immaculate and has all the amenities you could wish for, its in a lovely peaceful location with amazing panoramic views which were great to wake up to each morning along with some fantastic sunsets! We had milk, flowers and eggs (from the chickens on the farm) left for us on arrival which we really appreciated. There are some great pubs a short drive away and we had some lovely days out visiting Battle Abbey, Hastings and Leeds Castle. We would love to stay here again and explore the area further.

I highly recommend a holiday at Lords View. It is situated in a beautiful location with easy driving distance to explore south east Kent and its coast Our holiday was in late December and the bungalow was spacious, warm and very comfortable. The large entrance hall leads into a well equipped modern kitchen and open plan lounge dining room.There was ample room to accommodate our wheelchair user.The bedrooms were comfortable with the bonus of an en-suite bathroom within the double bedroom.The owner was very friendly and helpful..
