Our second stay at Churchlands, this time in the Old Cowshed minus our dog, last time in Glebe Cottage with our dog. Very comfortable and spacious accommodation, the French oak beams are beautiful and give the interior a period feel, while having modern comforts such as underfloor heating and a hot tub outside. The location is idyllic, very peaceful, with far reaching views of Romney Marsh and over to the Kent Downs. There is a lovely pub - The Ferry Inn - about a kilometre from the property which is great for dinner, or enjoying the golden hour with a drink. I'd recommend Churchlands as a well located base to explore West Kent and East Sussex, or just somewhere to relax. I'm sure we'll be back again in the future.

We were a family group of four adults, and loved this beautiful cottage in a fantastic rural setting that we strongly recommend. It’s quiet and peaceful with a lovely big living/dining room where we played board games in the evening with the fire lit. We walked from the cottage the 5 miles into Rye down the footpath and along the military canal and took a taxi back. We had a wonderful day on Camber Sands. We came back to the cottage in the afternoons and used the clean and well appointed hot tub to relax in and cooked dinner in the ample kitchen. Fantastic holiday break for four days and three nights or longer.
