When we arrived there was building work going on in there garden which was fine until 7.15 when the builder arrived on the 3rd day a grab lorry at 7,45. We did complain to the owner who told us they was booked for 10am her husband was very persistent that we took some money for lunch to compensate. Also people should be made aware that there a very steep shared drive when leaving which did damage to my husband front bumper, which now needs to go to the paint shop.

The Potting Shed is a pleasant cottage for a short break. It is advertised as dog friendly but I think many dogs would struggle with the open stairs. Some dogs sleep in owners bedroom, others do not. My husband had to carry our old cockerpoo up and down. I just think it would be worth a mention in Cottage particulars. All furnishings and facilities were adequate but WIFI rather unreliable.

A good cosy base for two. Nice village location, and peaceful. It would not suit people who have any sort of serious mobility issues, as the stairs are steep, and the bedroom in the roof space has limited height ( can only stand up straight in the middle ! ). Hosts were very helpful, and nothing was too much trouble.
