Arrival Information: Darwin Escapes check-in’s are available from 16:00. If you are likely to arrive later than 18:00, please call our resort reception team on 01227 701 110 to let them know.
Departure Information: Check out time is at 10:00am on the day of your departure. Darwin Escapes kindly ask that you leave your accommodation as you found it.
Travel cot hire: You can request a travel cot on your booking. Please note, there is no bedding provided and the mattresses are folding, thin and firm and is provided by manufacturer. We require you to follow the safety instructions, which state not to use a secondary mattress or any padded bedding such as pillows or quilts. You must bring your own bedding (e.g infant sleep bags). Please contact reception for mattress dimensions should you require. For further information on safe sleeping in travel cots please refer to information available from sites such as the Lullaby Trust. Important travel COT information Manufacturers instructions are provided at the point of issue and cots are cleaned in line with these after each use. Please also be aware that travel cots may not fit in double/master bedrooms in selected units, please call reception on 01227 701 110 for more information if a cot is needed.
Pets: Please make sure that you have included your pet in your booking. If your pet is not included, Darwin Escapes will either relocate you to a pet-friendly lodge, if there is one available, or holds the right to refuse access to the resort. You may be liable for any charges incurred.
Additional Information: Please note that you will be requested for your car registration number upon arrival for Canterbury Reach’s barrier security system. Please read Darwin Escapes’ park rules found here.
Group Bookings/Party Types: A security deposit may be requested on arrival.
Please note any guests under the age of 18 need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Great location for Canterbury, only 10 mins down the road.The lodge was probably the cleanest, tidiest, up to date place we have stayed for a good few years, only complaint was some old food squashed between two plates in the cupboard.Plates, cups and glasses were a bit of a mish-mash, set of 3 or 4 pieces, and each had 1 odd piece, but as accommodation for 2 people goes it was fine. Had a decent size fridge, separate freezer, dishwasher, washing machine. Good size rooms, long length bath, with shower. No on site facilities to speak of, but it isnt that type of site. Its a lodge sited in pleasant surroundings.Would happily stay again.

We had a lovely stay overall. The lodge was comfortable, cosy, and well equipped, making it ideal for a short stay. We did need to use taxis to get around, but this wasn’t too much of an issue.The person at reception was very helpful and reassuring, and it was great knowing we could call at any time if needed. A few small additions would make the stay even better, such as cushions on the sofas and some hooks behind the bathroom door. The kitchen was well equipped, although it would have been helpful to have more than one dishwasher tablet provided.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it for a comfortable short break.
