No smoking.. This three-bedroom barn cottage is located within the owners’ stunning grounds and has been finished and furnished to a very high standard. The property itself has three good sized double bedrooms (NB: double beds, not king size) and two bathrooms, making it ideal for family holidays and couples getaways. The barn is located centrally in Kent just 20 minutes from Canterbury city centre and from Dover Ferry Port, or going east, the golden sanded beaches of Ramsgate, Broadstairs, Margate and the picturesque coastal town of Deal.
Surrounding the barn are plenty of lovely walks and cycle routes for the exploring guests to wander. For golfers, only 8 miles away is Royal St. George’s in Sandwich, which hosts the Open Championships every few years, as well as Canterbury Golf Club & driving range and Broome Park Golf Club. For animal enthusiasts there is Wingham Wildlife Park and Howletts Wild Animal Park within 4 miles and 6 miles respectively. With so many things to see and do locally this property is a must! The property would serve well as a base for families and for couples looking to enjoy the countryside and seaside combined. Beach 9 miles.

The Ark Barn is a comfortable, well appointed home from home with everything we could possibly need provided.It was a perfect place from which to explore the coast and historic attractions between Canterbury and Dover and during a cold and occasionally wet week in February.The owners took the trouble to provide us with helpful communications and documents prior to our arrival and checked that we had everything we needed during our stay.
