Set down a pretty country lane, St Andrews is surrounded by picturesque countryside, ideal for those who prefer to explore on foot or with a four legged friend, with beautiful bluebell woods nearby. This detached house is located just 15 minutes from the coastal town of Deal, with its tempting mix of independent restaurants and cafes, vibrant bars and interesting boutique and vintage shops, as well as a long stretch of pebbled beach.
With an impressive and character Georgian façade at the rear and a pretty farmhouse façade to the front, this delightful country home offers beautiful views through paned sash windows across countryside and woodland. Inside, the hand painted, country style kitchen with Range master and Nespresso coffee machine is ideal for self-catering family meals. With two living rooms, cosy up together around the wood burner, or for those who would rather watch a movie, the second living room is the perfect spot, and features French doors leading out into the garden. Upstairs are four bedrooms, with the master enjoying views across the garden to the field and woodland beyond with horses grazing in the distance.
Set in a spacious multi-level lawned garden which is accessed by a number of steps around the outside of the property and looks out over the field beyond, it is the ideal setting for barbecues and al fresco dining, or for relaxing with only the sound of birds to disturb you. St Andrews is a period property with a number of internal steps other than the main staircase, as well as some low door frames. Beach 6¼ miles. Shop and pub 2¼ miles, restaurant 6 miles.

The most wonderful getaway! A charming property in a whimsical village. There are so many comfy chairs perfect for settling in with a good book or enjoying a film by the fire.The kitchen is well-equipped with great appliances, and the heating in every room made the whole place feel cosy and comfortable. The team were incredibly responsive and quick to answer any messages.I’d recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing escape — we’re already planning our next trip back!

Our second stay at St Andrews. A lovely house but needs a little tlc now. Unfortunately the main oven wasn’t working. The bathroom locks need attention (along with the front door) and a general refresh of the rooms would be beneficial. Lots of household items are available which are welcome and comfy, crisp, fresh bedding!
