This stunning, seaside cottage is located just 10 yards from beach, in the beautiful village of Kingsdown. Violet Cottage has been lovingly decorated and furnished to a very good standard. It appeals to many different guests including families, friends, couples and pets!
Surrounding the cottage there is plenty of well-managed, outdoor private space to enjoy in the summer months. Outside seating and dining facilities are supplied along with bicycle storage and a barbecue, perfect for al fresco dining.
Inspired by the surrounding landscape, Violet Cottage has a seaside theme and plenty of charm. There are three comfortable bedrooms all with sea views, one room hosts a kingsize bed, one with a double bed and the other offers a bunk bed. French doors from the living room lead onto a delightful terrace, with views over the sea grass to the pebbly beach. For the winter months, enjoy the warmth of the wood burner in the living room, plan the next day’s activities and relax in peace and quiet.
The local pub is a stone’s throw away which offers a wide range of local ales. Take a trip back in time with Walmer and Deal Castles, explore the promenade of Deal and take a day trip to France from Dover. This cottage is the perfect location for a fantastic, family seaside break. Shop 300 yards, pub 50 yards and restaurant 3 miles.

Lovely place, sea views and walks. Three great local pubs and a short drive into Deal. Very nice and cosy, had a great Christmas there

We had at fabulous holiday at Violet Cottage. Such a cosy place to stay, with wonderful sea views. It’s a great location, too: right next to the beach, a lovely pub and a really nice coastal walk (around 45 mins) to Deal. It’s our second time visiting and we’ll definitely be back again!
