Guests say

Tudor Wing is a charming and characterful property, highly praised for its suitability for large family gatherings and celebrations. Guests enjoyed the extensive grounds, cosy lounge with a wood burner, and the well-equipped kitchen. The outdoor pool and games room were popular among all ages. The property's historical ambiance and the helpfulness of the owner, Richard, were frequently commended. While some guests mentioned issues with cleanliness and maintenance, these were outweighed by the overall positive experiences.

Reviews on cleanliness are mixed, with several guests finding the property well-kept, while others noted areas needing improvement, such as cobwebs and unclean kitchenware. The presence of both positive and negative comments leads to a slightly above average score.

The location is consistently praised for its beauty and convenience, with proximity to local attractions like Hever Castle and countryside walks. The rural setting and scenic views contributed to a high score.

Guests found the beds comfortable and the rooms cosy, though some mentioned issues with room temperature and the comfort of additional facilities like the pool. The overall sentiment remains positive, resulting in an above-average score.

The property's facilities, including the pool, games room, and well-stocked kitchen, were appreciated. However, some guests reported maintenance issues like a non-heated pool and broken equipment, leading to a good but not excellent score.

Several guests mentioned a generous welcome hamper and the owner's helpfulness, reflecting a degree of thoughtfulness. However, as not all reviews reference such gifts and their provision may not be consistent, the score reflects this uncertainty.

We celebrated my Mum's 80th there and it was a wonderful space, to be together as there was, also, enough space not to feel cramped. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the utensils you need. The beds are very comfortable & cosy. We all enjoyed the pool and surrounding area and the front garden is super lush. Priscilla, the Housekeeper is wonderful and Richard, the host, very accommodating. Thoroughly recommend Tudor Wing and we, may, well be back!!

We were a very large group but the spacious property was plenty big enough for us to be able to celebrate a special birthday together. Many thanks to the property owners, we had a fantastic time!!!

14 of us enjoyed the pool, the beautiful grounds and playing ‘sardines’ in the house. Very well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Would love to come back again. Never managed to locate the tennis court but that didn’t matter. A wonderful stay!
