About this property
Bokes Barn is a contemporary barn conversion overlooking 80 acres of award winning Chapel Down vineyards, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The large, open-plan living area creates a feeling of space and light, with doors opening out onto the generous patio, with glorious views and comfortable seating.
The Weald is a very special part of England, with spectacular views, rolling hillsides and villages steeped in centuries of history. Bokes Barn puts you centre stage of this captivating landscape, occupying a perfect position for sweeping views across Wealden Down's hills. You even have exclusive use of three-acres of paddock during your stay, not to mention the croquet lawn and paths through the vineyard.
The barn conversion has been fitted out to an extremely high standard, with lots of extra little touches such as a wine fridge – essential if you’re going to sample the local, award-winning wine! There’s plenty of space for everyone to relax, and three of the bedrooms can be either double beds or twin beds depending on requirements. If a member of your party brings some work away with them, the mezzanine could come in useful as a makeshift study. There's even a piano for those who like to 'tickle the ivories'. One place you’re bound to all end up at some stage is the large, south-facing terrace, with its commanding views over the fields beyond. With plenty of elegant rattan furniture as well as a fire pit and barbecue, it’s the ideal spot to spend a relaxing evening enjoying each other’s company. Or head over to the games room where tournaments of table football, darts, billiards and table tennis await.

Bokes Barn is on a working vineyard and so please expect that there will be some activity.

This was a fabulous venue for my 70th birthday family celebration. Its spacious living area was ideal for our multi generational party and the bedrooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Gorgeous views and plenty of outdoor space with a great games room too! The owners were very helpful and quick to respond to any query. Our arrival hamper was wonderful!

This property has everything you could wish for in a holiday rental. It is exceptionally well equipped and in first class condition. The rooms are all very well appointed, airy and tasteful. The location and outdoor area are also a bonus. On a personal level, we did have a minor hiccup and the owner went every mile to rectify the problem. He is charming, welcoming and extremely helpful! The welcome hamper was perfect too. Definitely a property we wish to return to.

Bokes Barn was fabulous, we could not have asked for more for our family weekend celebrating a big birthday. Sam was great at keeping in touch and answering questions before our visit and it was nice to meet her when she dropped by. Details at the property were amazing. It was so well equipped, comfortable and warm. There was plenty of comfortable seating, crockery, cutlery, 2 dishwashers, a large fridge, great cooking facilities, a laundry room and a games room as well as easy parking. The views were vast. Linen and toiletries were luxurious. On top of everything we were left a wonderful welcome hamper and cake and welcome fresh flowers. Bokes Barn was faultless and just perfect for our needs!
