The nearby farm hosts an annual (April) ’lambing day’ and country market in the field directly opposite the property. Excellent, well maintained property with everything and more that you need. Hosts are lovely and go over and above to make sure everything is in order. A couple of examples, they provide a welcome pack of provisions to start you off and contacted us a few days before to check if we had allergies. In conversation we mentioned going to see a couple of shows and they recommended the best station to go to London from. A few minutes later they texted having checked which theatres and told us the best station in London to go to and how far the walk was to the theatre. We would use this property again if travelling to that area

Janet and Steve are very welcoming. The cottage is pristine. Little edible treats are provided which are much appreciated. We have stayed here several times in the last 3 years and intend coming regularly when we visit our family.
