The Coach House Stables is a lovely and comfortable holiday home in a quiet country location. It is a short walk from the pretty village of Hernhill, with it’s idyllic church and village green, and the traditional pub, The Red Lion, which overlooks the green, serves good food and is very dog friendly. Enclosed walled terrace overlooking the owners’ grounds, with gas BBQ and garden furniture. A gate leads into the grounds, where guests are welcome to walk but dogs must be kept on lead as there are roaming chickens.

Lovely location, a great base to explore Canterbury/Whitstable and other great locations. The hosts were lovely and even left us some extra bits for the kids to play with. The garden area was lovely to explore with the littles in the morning and they loved saying hi to the chickens. Highly recommend this place, the only issue is if you have a curious toddler like mine the open plan set up meant alot of dragging them away from the kitchen.

Great cottage, good location nice and quiet. Narrow lanes to get to the cottage. We found the pillows too soft for our liking and one mattress was very spongy as well. Would be ideal for anybody who enjoys walking in the countryside
