Guests say

Harbour Cottage in Ramsgate is praised for its excellent location and cleanliness, with guests enjoying its proximity to the sea, shops, and restaurants. The cottage is described as lovely and well-equipped, offering comfortable bedrooms and a cosy lounge. However, some guests noted steep stairs and parking difficulties for additional vehicles.

The cottage generally receives positive remarks for cleanliness, but there are isolated complaints about specific areas not being up to standard, such as a dirty oven and floors that could use more attention.

The location is consistently highlighted as great, with the property being central, close to the harbour, and within walking distance to amenities, making it a standout feature.

Guests find the bedrooms nice and the lounge cosy, contributing to a comfortable stay. However, the steep stairs are a recurring concern, affecting the overall comfort for some visitors.

The property is well-equipped with a good kitchen and lovely bathrooms. Nonetheless, there are reports of maintenance issues such as a broken bed and mildew in the wet room, which suggest room for improvement.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

    • Mr Hewer

Nice place, stairs are and death trap and parking besides the 1 allocated space is terrible. All in all it was acceptable.

    • Mrs Carter-Till

Really fabulous cottage in perfect location. Throughly enjoyed our stay and didn’t need for anything.
