This was a charming old house. Very clean, with a spacious kitchen with comfortable seating. Spacious dining room and a lovely, private garden which we used a lot. The bedrooms were a good size and beds were comfortable with good quality bedding. However, there were several negatives:We could not agree that the house is ‘finished to an exceptional standard’. The sofas are old and one of them is broken with the leather missing and the inner wooden structure on show. In our opinion both the sofas and scatter cushions need replacing. The snug was charmless and housed the owners filing cabinets and printer. The stairs were very steep and would not be easy for those with mobility issues. Bedrooms need mirrors near electric plugs or plugs added near the mirrors. There were no grab rails or shelves in either shower which means you have to bend down to reach shampoo etc. Not safe. Lastly there was heavy traffic through the village from early morning into the night, making it difficult to sleep.

Town Farm House is a beautiful place to stay. It is very comfortable and well equipped, with good beds, bathrooms and an excellent kitchen. The sitting room with the open fire is very cozy. The house is located in a beautiful part of Kent and I would happily stay there again.
