This fantastic property enjoys spacious accommodation and is perfect for families, friends, groups and celebrations. This detached house has two bedrooms, one with en-suite, and a family bathroom on the ground floor, and two further bedrooms on the first floor, again one with an en-suite. The large living room is double aspect and enjoys views to the rear of the property that stretch across the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside. The kitchen gives direct access to the large enclosed garden with a hidden seating area at the bottom.
The Long House is set within the small hamlet of Middle Aston in Oxfordshire and is only 1 mile away from the busy village of Steeple Aston, where you will find a great pub, post office and shop. Just over 8 miles away is Bicester Village, a must for any shopaholic to spend some money in the many designer outlet shops! Located in the Cherwell Valley area of Oxfordshire, you can enjoy the outdoors by ambling the many footpaths the area has to offer. Blenheim Palace, once home to Winston Churchill, is approximately 8 miles away and enjoys many events throughout the year, including music events, horse trials, Countryfile Live and a beautiful Christmas light show.
Close to the borders of the Cotswolds, you can enjoy driving and stopping at beautiful villages and towns, visiting tea rooms, eating at fabulous country pubs or taking in the scenery this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty offers. The historic university city of Oxford is within easy reach, and is well worth a visit to see the beautiful buildings and Westgate shopping and entertainment centre. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage in the Oxfordshire countryside. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the peaceful surroundings, beautiful views, and the cottage’s cosy, welcoming atmosphere.The cottage was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully furnished, combining traditional character with all the modern comforts needed for a relaxing break. The comfortable beds, well-appointed kitchen, and cosy living area made it feel like a home away from home.Overall, we had a fantastic holiday and would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful countryside retreat. We left feeling refreshed and would happily return in the future.

Wow what a gorgeous place to stay! The photos do not do the house justice. It is so much bigger than the photos show but also cosy at the same time. We enjoyed our stay here so much we may have to come back in the future. The outside space is amazing as well with outstanding views over the countryside. We enjoyed our first cup of tea every morning in the garden. We could have sat there all day just listening to the birds. It's really conveniently located for Oxford and Blenheim Palace. I can't recommend this place enough.
