A wonderful period house to stay in. The rooms were well furnished and a log burner in the sitting room (it was unfortunately too warm to use) The kitchen had all the equipment needed for our stay and Bett was brilliant, not just in looking after the property but also suggesting some places to visit. The Star pub js very close and the staff there are very friendly/welcoming. The food is really good and reasonably priced. The house is one I would definitly go back to in the future.

Just adored this house. It's over 500 years old and has endless charm and character. The owners have spent time and money as well as thought and good taste to bring the home up to a high standard. It has a beautiful spacious kitchen, and the house is always warm. If you're coming from the US, this house will blow your mind. The surrounding village is charming and compact, but with useful amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be delighted to spend time at Pollard Cottage in the future.
