This boutique lodge is surrounded by the rolling green Surrey Hills and looks out onto a paddock. Internally the décor is bursting with well thought out design elements, making The Haybarn the perfect couples retreat.
With accommodation all on one level, enter through bi-folding doors into the open-plan living space. The modern kitchen is well-equipped and the living space has a feature wood burning stove, Smart television and large corner sofa. The dining area is well thought out with a stylish sit-up bar table. To the front of the property, the bi-fold doors open up to bring the outside in, with patio furniture allowing guests to soak up the sun. The hallway leads to two bedrooms. Bedroom one with comfy king-size bed and en-suite bathroom including a walk-in shower and beautiful free-standing bath; bedroom two has an equally comfy double bed and, again, a stylish en-suite with a large walk-in rain shower.
Just down the road is Hurtwood Park and Polo Club, one of the UK’s only polo clubs of its kind, where you can access various facilities and events throughout the year. As well as the smaller towns and villages that surround you, you are just an hour from London, Portsmouth, Brighton and equidistant between Gatwick and Heathrow airports. So there are plenty of places to explore during your stay. The local village pub, The Bulls Head Inn has undergone an extensive refurbishment and is a lovely stroll away from The Haybarn.

Subject to room in the stables, should you wish to bring your own horse - expert dressage tuition with international dressage riders is available to book directly with the owners. (Please be aware, The Haybarn does not provide trekking or riding lessons).
One to one yoga and private dining is also available to book directly with the owners, subject to availability.
Children and infants welcome (to be included within the maximum capacity of four guests), please provide your own travel cot and high chair if required.
The property is situated on an equestrian working farm, therefore guests are asked to be respectful to the neighbours and to keep late night noise to a minimum please.

Please be aware, a right of way footpath to the Surrey Hills goes across the owners neighbouring grounds.
Due to the remote location of the property, mobile phone signal can be weak.
A complimentary hamper is included with the property, however the contents may vary to the standard Rural Retreats hamper.
The Haybarn is within walking distance of a pub.

I stayed at the Haybarn with a friend for the weekend, and we had a lovely time. Would highly recommend. The space is a great size for 2 adults, but you could comfortably fit 2 couples. It was nicely decorated and clean, and the host very generously left some food items in the kitchen so we didnât need to do an immediate shop (helpful as we arrived late). Bedrooms were a good size, each with en-suite as advertised. Location was very easy to get to - we had a car so local pub, shops etc were also convenient. We went on a couple of really lovely walks in Surrey Hills area which was just gorgeous. Finally, the host was so accommodating. Check-in & out was really smooth with the lock box. We were able to check out a little bit later as well which was the cherry on the cake.

The house is very well equipped and furnished very tastefully. We immediately felt at home. Bathrooms are outstanding. The surroundings are beautiful and it is incredibly silent!

It was a great experience, the only thing was the WiFi and there were loads of cobwebs but I had a really nice stay.
