No smoking.. Hatchers Barn is joined to Olivers Barn – also available to rent – a perfect add-on for larger groups. They mirror each other and are two beautiful barn conversions in the stunning North Wessex Downs, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. They are the perfect property for both family and friend groups looking for excellent quality accommodation to reunite and get together in a beautiful part of the country.
They can be booked together to sleep up to 16 or as two completely separate houses of eight, and the owner has thoughtfully arranged for on-site chefs that can provide celebration cakes by prior arrangement. It’s a wonderland for walkers with a footpath from the front door which will take you into the beautiful countryside. Cycling is also very popular in this area with plenty of routes to take and discover.
Other local attractions and activities in the area include Barbury shooting school, Lambourn racing stables, Newbury Racecourse, Highclere Castle (also known as the filming location for Downton Abbey), Avebury Stone Circle, Donnington Castle, Thatcham Nature Discovery Centre, and the prestigious Windsor Castle.

This was our 2nd stay at the Barn , having stayed in Oliivers Barn on our previous visit. A wonderful home from home stay. Everything you need and more. A wonderful place for a family or group of friends.Well equipped kitchen, comfortably beds, lovely bathrooms and close to amenities in surrounding areas.Love this place, if you are thinking of booking, stop thinking and book!!

During cold weather which it was during our stay the under floor heating is inadequate. Apart from that cottage has very high spec finish and in good location.

Hatchers barn is beautiful. Clean comfortable & stylish . We felt at home immediately it had everything we needed . We had the best Christmas there so lovely. Quiet but close to enough places . Didn’t want to leave it was so nice , would go back in a heartbeat.
