I visited Cherry Bird this weekend for some relaxation before the Christmas mayhem. We shared a three bedroom lodge with hot tub; each room had an ensuite and the lodge was clean, well maintained, and well equipped. Emails prior to arrival with directions, gate codes and useful information were timely and well thought through.Upon arrival we were informed that the dishwasher in our lodge was broken, this was frustrating as we cooked/ate in for every meal and that wasn't my idea of a relaxing weekend but we managed! We also found two dirty nappies in one of the en suite bins which was a bit gross!When we arrived the staff told us we could park on the 'hard standing' outside our lodge to unpack but this wasn't clear as there was no visible parking in the dark (although in the daylight you can see the grids below the grass!)The shower in the en suite in the master was terrible, there was no water pressure at hot, and what a waste of a beautiful shower! The bath was beautiful, but not exactly practical for washing your hair when the shower wasn't working!Would definitely return!
