Guests appreciate the beautiful, well-appointed cottage in Bath, praising its warmth, cleanliness, and proximity to the city centre. The property's charm and quiet location are consistently noted, though some guests mention issues with parking and stairs, which could be challenging for those with mobility concerns. Communication and responsiveness from management have room for improvement.
The property is generally described as clean and well-kept, with multiple reviews affirming its tidiness. However, there were isolated complaints about a broken dishwasher and a blocked shower drain, which slightly impact the overall perception of cleanliness.
The location is highly praised for being quiet and within easy walking distance to Bath's centre, shops, and historic highlights. The lack of on-site parking is a drawback for some, but the property's accessibility to city attractions is a strong positive.
Guests find the property comfortable, with special mentions of cosy sitting rooms and comfortable beds, although there are comments about small beds and bouncy mattresses. The presence of steep stairs and the absence of a toilet on the first floor are noted as potential discomforts for some guests.
The property is equipped with a well-appointed kitchen and has been decorated beautifully. However, there are reports of maintenance issues such as a broken dishwasher, blocked shower drain, and a lack of clear instructions for rubbish disposal and parking permits, which suggests that facilities and maintenance could be better managed.
There is no mention of gifts or special amenities that would indicate thoughtfulness from the property management. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Decoration and cleanliness were amazing. The only thing I would suggest would be an improvement with the beds as they were a little small with bouncy mattresses. Also, knowing we could get a parking permit at booking would have been helpful. We did get one, but after we had booked parking elsewhere and then had to cancel. Otherwise we all had a lovely few days here and would definitely return. Thank you.

We had rented the house for my wife's 60th birthday, so that all the family could be together for the weekend. There was no 'fighting' over the bedrooms as all were of a good size. The top floor has two bedrooms with a slightly compact shower room, but all good, The middle floors bedrooms have a better sized shower room with a great shower down a flight and a half set of stairs. Two cosy sitting rooms on the ground floor, however we spent most of the time in the well equipped kitchen / dining room in the basement. Great communication beforehand and on the day of arrival from both Sykes and the property owner.

There really is absolutely no parking though, recommend Charlotte street car park for long term stay.
